Concord Park
vision. opportunity. success.
Through a competitive process, East West Partners (EWP) was selected by the City of Charleston to purchase and develop four acres of a 10-acre site located on the eastern side of the Charleston Peninsula. The City will retain the balance of the site to create a major new downtown park. EWP has proposed and received approvals for a lively mix of uses for the site, which is well on its way to becoming a thriving new center for the Charleston Peninsula. Hundreds of millions of dollars, public and private, have already been invested in the immediate vicinity of the site. The City of Charleston has fully entitled and approved the Concord Park zoning and land use plan. All necessary utilities are in place to service the site. EWP’s investment will solidify this location as one of Charleston’s prime downtown neighborhoods. The approved uses for Concord Park include:
- 60-room boutique hotel
- 120-seat restaurant
- 2,100-square-foot fitness facility
- 90-100 market rate condominiums
- 60 workforce housing apartments (to be developed by others)
- 66,000 square feet of office space (to be developed by others)
